Catalio Capital Management is seeking $500 million for Nexus V, its next venture fund, which will invest in companies applying artificial intelligence to health care. Fundraising is underway, so the amount remains a target rather than a completed close. The anticipated transfer includes Doctronic and Basecamp Research, alongside three other current Catalio investments. The fund is expected to have an investment mix similar to Catalio’s previous venture fund, Nexus Fund IV. Nexus Fund IV reached its final close in July 2025, with co-investment vehicles bringing total commitments above $400 million. Catalio had $2.4 billion in assets under management as of Oct. 1, 2026, across its private, public and credit strategies. KKR announced plans in 2023 to take a minority economic stake in Catalio and invest in its funds.
