Image: TokenPost

Ether (ETH) saw $7.24 million in long positions liquidated over the hour ending 10:15 a.m. ET (14:15 UTC) Oct. 15, within an $11.17 million total across three exchanges. Short liquidations totaled $3.93 million during the same period. The combined figure covers those three exchanges only and is not a market-wide total. The hour ran from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. ET (13:15 to 14:15 UTC). Ether rose from $2,354 to $2,370 during that window, a 0.67% gain, even as long liquidations exceeded short liquidations. Ether ranked second among cryptocurrencies by market capitalization. The tally breaks out the $11.17 million total by position direction: $7.24 million came from long positions and $3.93 million from short positions.
