Wellington-Altus Strategist Says Bitcoin's Four-Year Cycle Is Over

Image: TokenPost

Bitcoin may be entering a generational supercycle as market structure changes, James Thorne, chief market strategist at Wellington-Altus Private Wealth, argued in a discussion published Oct. 15. He said the familiar four-year cycle is over. Thorne drew on his experience with a commodities supercycle to explain why he believes current market conditions differ. The discussion also covered who might buy Bitcoin next, settlement, collateral, tokenization and Bitcoin’s market capitalization compared with gold. Sonny Jang reports on people and leadership in digital assets for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
