PayPal's second-quarter revenue rose 5% and payment volume increased 10%, but slower transaction-margin growth and lower operating income showed uneven results across the company’s reported measures. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, revenue reached $8.682 billion and total payment volume was $486.448 billion. PayPal reported $3.9 billion in transaction-margin dollars, up 1% from a year earlier. The company released its second-quarter results on July 28. Non-GAAP operating income declined 8% to $1.507 billion. Non-GAAP operating margin narrowed to 17.4% from 19.8%, and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share fell 1% to $1.38. The results put faster payment-volume growth alongside slower transaction-margin growth and declines in operating income and diluted EPS. PayPal raised its 2026 non-GAAP earnings-per-share outlook to about $5.38.
