NVIDIA said European ecosystem partners are adopting its DSX AI Factory Platform to build AI infrastructure that uses less cooling water and less power for the same AI output, while also supporting grid reliability. The announcement, published from GTC Berlin on 21 October 2026, frames DSX as a full-stack reference architecture for AI factories rather than a GPU-only product. According to NVIDIA’s newsroom material dated 21 October 2026, DSX reference designs combine liquid-cooled computing with dry coolers to avoid evaporative cooling at the facility level, which the company says can reduce cooling water consumption to near zero. NVIDIA said that at a 2-gigawatt scale, the design could save 54 million liters of water a day versus conventional cooling-tower systems, equivalent to the daily water use of 180,000 households.
