MongoDB CFO Michael Berry Gets 27,211 RSUs in $10 Million Retention Award

Image: TokenPost

MongoDB’s compensation committee approved a one-time retention award for Chief Financial Officer Michael Berry, valued at $10 million and comprising 27,211 restricted stock units. Each unit represents a contingent right to receive one share of MongoDB common stock. The $10 million figure is the award’s grant value. MongoDB calculated the unit count using volume-weighted average prices across 30 trading sessions from Aug. 28 through Oct. 9, then rounded the result up to a whole share. The units are scheduled to vest in three installments: 33% on April 1, 2027, another 33% on Oct. 1, 2027, and the remaining 34% on April 1, 2028. Berry must remain with MongoDB through each vesting date for the scheduled installments to take effect.
