Capital Research reported 143,301,084 Metaplanet shares, up 17,845,264 from 125,455,820 shares on Sept. 8. Its reported voting-rights share rose from 9.32% over the same period. Metaplanet repurchased 73,981,400 ordinary shares on Oct. 14 for ¥19,309,145,400, or ¥261 per share. The company calculated its voting-rights base at 12,894,494 after the repurchase, down from 13,634,308 as of Sept. 30.
