Image: TokenPost

Bitcoin options with about $10.92 billion in notional value are due to expire Friday, Oct. 30, at 4 a.m. ET (08:00 UTC). The contracts cover about 135,000 BTC, and their maximum-pain level is $78,000. The expiring BTC options have a put/call ratio of 0.53. Ether (ETH) options worth about $776 million are scheduled for the same settlement time, with a maximum-pain level of $2,500 and a put/call ratio of 0.77. Maximum pain is the settlement price that would produce the greatest combined loss for options holders. A previous TokenPost article covered a Bitcoin and Ether options expiration on Oct. 9, when BTC options had $1.84 billion in notional value.
