Anchorage Digital Seeks Swap Dealer Registration, Plans Bitcoin and Ether Options

Anchorage Digital has sought swap dealer registration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and plans to offer European-style options on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) if approved, with terms of up to one year. The National Futures Association (NFA) has not completed its review of the application. Publicly traded companies holding Bitcoin and Ether have become an important source of growth for Anchorage Digital’s existing options business.
