Stellar Stablecoin Volume Climbs 121% in 2026 Third Quarter

Image: TokenPost

Stellar's stablecoin volume climbed 121% from the previous quarter in the third quarter, alongside record developer participation on a network designed to facilitate cross-border transactions and used for asset issuance. The network had 3,922 monthly active developers, a record, and recorded 99.99% uptime during the quarter. The stablecoin figure measures growth in volume; the developer count and uptime rate describe separate aspects of the network. Stellar also hosts tokenized real-world assets, which represent assets on a blockchain. An earlier snapshot of Stellar's tokenized assets put their value at $3.5 billion. That asset total is a different measure from stablecoin volume. Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
