Singapore Gulf Bank Adds In-Account Swaps for Tether and USD Coin

Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB) has introduced in-account swaps that let individual customers exchange U.S. dollars for Tether (USDT) or USD Coin (USDC) through its mobile banking app. Individual customers can also exchange either stablecoin back into dollars and hold USDT or USDC alongside other fiat currencies in the same bank account. The service is available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, without requiring customers to transfer funds to a crypto exchange. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
