NEAR doubles in a month, outpaces Bitcoin with 107% gain

NEAR Protocol has delivered one of the most notable rallies in the cryptocurrency market, more than doubling in value over the past month as Bitcoin recorded a much more modest increase. In a 30-day window measured as of October 14, NEAR surged approximately 107%, in contrast to Bitcoin’s 7.1% rise during the same period. This translates to NEAR outperforming Bitcoin by roughly fifteenfold in terms of percentage gain. NEAR’s strong price action can be partly attributed to its relatively smaller market capitalization. Because the project is more nimble, capital inflows tend to have a greater impact on price than they do for more established, higher-cap coins like Bitcoin.
