Samsung has expanded its digital wallet functionality by incorporating support for the stablecoin USDC on the Solana blockchain. This new feature is accessible to approximately 82 million compatible Samsung Galaxy devices in the United States, though it excludes residents of New York. This development is seen as a positive indicator for Solana, as it could potentially increase the demand for SOL, Solana’s native cryptocurrency. The addition of USDC to Samsung Wallet may enhance Solana’s ecosystem by promoting higher volume and greater user engagement.
