Privy Adds XRP Ledger Wallet Tools With RLUSD Support for Developers

Privy is adding programmable XRP Ledger wallet tools that support Ripple USD (RLUSD), XRP and other assets, expanding developer options as RLUSD also moves into institutional custody and brokerage settlement. The tools let developers create and manage wallets, sign transactions and build applications using assets on the ledger. They also support x402 payments and private-key and seed-phrase export. The payment tools are designed for applications where software agents can pay for services. Policy controls and gas sponsorship are planned for a later phase. The announcement adds more detail on supported payment and key-management features. The tools are intended for developers, rather than as a feature activated for all existing RLUSD holders.
