Mastercard has introduced the Global Money Platform, a new service designed to help businesses integrate stablecoin payments into traditional banking and card systems. This launch marks a significant milestone as it allows companies to access digital currency services without the need to build their own payment infrastructure. Additionally, the system enables firms to issue stablecoin-linked cards and make payments directly from stablecoin balances to local bank accounts. The platform is fully integrated with Mastercard Move, the company’s global money transfer network.
