A New York federal court handed down the prison term for attacks tied to the Nefilim and Hive ransomware operations The sentencing, handed down on October 27, 2026, closes out a multi-year investigation by the US Department of Justice and the FBI. Prosecutors believe Stryzhak started working with Nefilim in or around June 2021. At the time, he was living in Barcelona, Spain. His Nefilim stint ran from June to October 2021.
