Chinese prosecutors are seeking to confiscate 61,896.41552945 Bitcoin (BTC) seized by British authorities, with a Tianjin court giving interested parties six months to participate before it hears the application. Tianjin No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court accepted the application on Sept. 28 and published a notice Oct. 13. The court will hear the matter after the six-month period, but has not set a hearing date. Accepting the application does not confiscate the assets or settle ownership. The court’s move follows an earlier report on the Tianjin confiscation bid . The request also covers 72,745.79502 Bitcoin Cash (BCH), 72,745.78555 Bitcoin Gold (BTG), 72,745.7845 Bitcoin SV (BSV), 3,605,989.9995 XRP and 70,081,208.62553222 Dogecoin (DOGE). British authorities converted the Dogecoin and placed it in an interest-bearing account.
