Swift Joins ERC-3643 Association as Partners Build Bond Framework

Swift joined the ERC-3643 Association on Thursday, Nov. 5, as Apex Group, Chainlink, T-REX Network and the association built a modular framework for applying on-chain bond compliance rules across blockchains. The framework uses ERC-3643 for identity, investor eligibility and transfer rules at the asset level. It combines regulated asset servicing with Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for cross-chain transfers and its Automated Compliance Engine (ACE), among other capabilities. Compliance requirements can be deployed once and reused across multiple chains. The framework is aligned with Swift standards. The partners plan to showcase end-to-end digital asset workflows in connection with the Singapore FinTech Festival. Chainlink has also developed a separate framework for connecting banks to Swift’s shared ledger . Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost.
