Sei Network’s SEI token has gained access to a new regulated derivatives product after a US derivatives exchange certified a cash-settled perpetual futures contract. The development could broaden trading and hedging options for the token, although the listing does not guarantee fresh demand for the token or sustained price gains. The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s product filings show that the SEI perpetual futures contract was certified on October 8, 2026. The filing was submitted by North American Derivatives Exchange, which operates as OG.com Markets. The exchange said it intended to list the contract by October 12. According to the exchange’s certification document , the contract is settled in US dollars, has no expiration date and tracks the token’s spot price through a reference index.
