Scaramucci Says SEC Could Help Tokenization Reach Broad Adoption

Image: TokenPost

SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci said Securities and Exchange Commission action under Chair Paul Atkins could help tokenization grow to a scale that a future chair would find difficult to slow. He presented agency action as a possible route for adoption while federal crypto legislation remains unresolved. Scaramucci said it was too early to tell whether tokenization could reach that point before the next administration. The CLARITY Act is intended to establish a federal framework for digital assets. A Senate procedural motion to advance the bill received 49 votes in favor and 50 against on Sept. 15, short of the 60 votes needed.
