OCC Lists Ripple National Trust Bank Filing as Effective

Image: TokenPost

The OCC’s current record lists Ripple National Trust Bank’s filing as “Consummated/Effective,” with an effective date of Oct. 26. The designation updates the bank’s regulatory status but does not establish that it has opened or begun operating. It follows the OCC’s Dec. 12, 2025, approval and an earlier conditional status . Ripple’s plan calls for the bank, once open, to manage segregated reserves backing Ripple USD (RLUSD), serve as a collateral trustee and provide fiduciary digital-asset custody. Standard Custody & Trust Company will remain RLUSD’s issuer. Ripple has not announced an opening date. The settlement plans name RLUSD, rather than XRP, as the asset to be used.
