Mastercard (MA) Stock: New Tool Aims to Catch Stablecoin Fraud Before Money Moves

Image: CoinCentral

TLDR Mastercard unveiled Stablecoin Security at Money20/20 USA on Monday. It gives banks a risk score before a stablecoin payment is completed. The tool combines payment data with blockchain analytics to flag fraud, scams and sanctions risks. Borderless.xyz and Keyrails are the first partners. It launches in North America first, with worldwide availability expected in 2027. The launch follows the $1.8 billion BVNK acquisition and last week’s Global Money Platform. Stablecoin supply growth has slowed this year, while transaction volumes have picked up. Mastercard (MA) introduced a new service on Monday that lets banks screen stablecoin payments for risk before the money moves. The article text provided does not include a stock price or chart for MA, so no price move is reported here.
