BitGo and Jupiter Bring SOL Staking to Institutions Without Leaving Regulated Custody

Image: Crypto Economy

BitGo and Jupiter join forces to launch the Jupiter x BitGo validator. With this tool, institutional clients will be able to natively delegate and stake SOL directly from their qualified custody accounts. According to a statement by BitGo Bank & Trust, N.A. alongside Solana’s leading DeFi aggregator, investors will be able to generate yields compounded by network inflation rewards and MEV tips without the need to transfer their assets out of cold storage vaults. This integration eliminates one of the biggest regulatory compliance barriers for funds and asset managers, as funds remain under bankruptcy-remote structures backed by insurance policies of up to $250 million . Unlike liquidity solutions that require interacting with external smart contracts, the native mechanism preserves corporate standards while channeling direct liquidity into Solana’s validation infrastructure.
