TL;DR: Securitize will enable the direct issuance and redemption of stablecoins through Anchorage Digital Bank without third-party intermediaries. The tokenization platform manages over $4 billion in assets linked to firms such as BlackRock, Apollo, KKR, and Hamilton Lane. As of August 31, 99% of the reserves for the USDtb stablecoin ($530 million) were backed by BlackRock’s tokenized BUIDL fund. The purpose of the new partnership between Anchorage Digital and Securitize is to integrate direct stablecoin issuance and redemption services geared toward institutional investors, strengthening regulated stablecoin infrastructure within the real-world asset (RWA) market.
