RTX secured a U.S. Air Force contract worth up to $8 billion Tuesday to modernize strategic communications terminals, restart production and conduct technical studies. The 10-year agreement runs through Oct. 12, 2036. Its maximum value represents the contract’s potential ceiling rather than an upfront payment.
