Image: Crypto Briefing

A claim circulating on X ties Kazakhstan to Brevan Howard Digital, but no official confirmation has surfaced yet Kazakhstan has reportedly invested $100 million in crypto funds, with Brevan Howard Digital named as one of the recipients, according to a post circulating on X. Searches of news coverage, fund databases and regulatory disclosures have not turned up an official announcement tying the Kazakh government to Brevan Howard Digital. The same goes for statements from the National Bank of Kazakhstan (NBK) and the state-linked Alem Crypto Fund. The $100 million figure and the Brevan Howard Digital connection come from the social media claim alone. Neither the NBK nor the Alem Crypto Fund has publicly confirmed it. What is documented is that Kazakhstan has been building crypto exposure on its own timetable.
