Input Output’s October 22 Hydra report replays a real application workload and measures what changed. TL;DR A replay of Midnight claim transactions found roughly 1.9 times the throughput on the newer Hydra version. The test used the same host and workload to compare software versions. The result describes that benchmark, not a new transaction-speed figure for all of Cardano.
