Daily Journal Completes Revir Acquisition, Adding Scout AI Tool

Daily Journal Corporation (Nasdaq: DJCO) completed its acquisition of Revir Technologies, Inc., adding an AI tool for justice and public safety agencies as it expands its government technology business. Daily Journal announced the deal Thursday, Oct. 15, after it closed Oct. 13. The company used cash on hand and did not disclose the financial terms. It does not expect the acquisition to materially affect its financial condition or operating results. Revir’s Scout tool indexes files from hundreds of sources and uses artificial intelligence to help analyze digital evidence. It runs within each customer’s secure Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. Revir will operate independently in Daily Journal’s new Courts, Justice, and Government Technology division, alongside Journal Technologies, Inc.
