Binance Meme Coins Face More Than $1.4 Billion in Selling Pressure

Image: TokenPost

Cumulative selling pressure on Binance’s meme coin segment has exceeded $1.4 billion since Bitcoin (BTC) reached its October 2025 peak. The segment’s share of altcoin market capitalization has fallen below 3%, a record low. The decline in market share reflects continued liquidity loss. Bitcoin’s maximum drawdown during the period reached 54%, while its price was about 35% below the peak at the latest reading. Meme coin prices are driven largely by market sentiment and cultural trends, and the tokens lack fundamental support. Those factors can leave the segment more exposed to declines during market corrections. Enna Lee reports on investing and digital-asset markets for TokenPost.
