An estimate puts the number of Bitcoin owners worldwide at 373 million in June 2026, but available country figures and adoption rankings do not show which nation has the most BTC holders. The estimate rose 2.5% from 364 million in December 2025 and represented 48.3% of global crypto owners. It is a global figure, not a country-by-country count of people who own Bitcoin. The available country figures count people estimated to own cryptocurrency overall, not Bitcoin specifically. A grassroots adoption index ranked Brazil first, the United States second and India sixth for July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. Its measures include service flows, domestic peer-to-peer activity, cross-border transfers and on-chain balances. The rankings reflect broad crypto adoption measures, not a count of Bitcoin holders.
