Bitcoin options expiring on November 9 showed a heavy concentration of call open interest, while puts held a slight lead in trading across expiries over the past 24 hours. The positioning showed a contrast between call-heavy outstanding contracts for November 9 and greater put activity in the broader market’s latest trading. As of November 6, total open interest for the November 9 expiry stood at 7,029 contracts, with a notional value of approximately $539.22 million. Call open interest totaled 6,503 contracts, compared with 526 puts, giving a put/call ratio of 0.08. The ratio showed that calls substantially outnumbered puts for that expiry.
