The publicly traded company plans to introduce tokenized shares in 2027, preserving shareholder rights while enabling faster settlement through Securitize. Hawkeye Digital (OTC: HWKE) announced Friday that it has partnered with Securitize (NYSE: SECZ) to tokenize its common stock on Ethereum , allowing eligible shareholders to hold and transfer their shares onchain beginning in 2027. Unlike synthetic or wrapped stock tokens, the new digital shares will represent the same HWKE common stock currently traded on OTC Markets, retaining existing dividend and voting rights. Each tokenized holding will be recorded on Ethereum and reconciled with Hawkeye’s official shareholder register. Transfers between eligible holders will be able to settle in near real time rather than through conventional settlement cycles.
