XRP Taker-Buy Volume Exceeds $184 Million on Binance as Price Falls

Image: TokenPost

XRP’s decline below $1.30 coincided with more than $184 million in Binance perpetual-swap taker buys over several hours. The figure measures executed derivatives trades, not cash deposits or net long positions. One Binance hourly period exceeded $73 million in taker-buy volume, compared with $1 million on Bybit and $451,000 on OKX. Several other Binance hourly periods topped $35 million. The total accumulated over several hours rather than in a single hour, combining activity across multiple intervals. Taker-buy volume measures the dollar value of buy orders filled by takers in perpetual swaps. It describes derivatives trading that took place, not cash deposited on an exchange. It also does not establish how much net long exposure traders held after the trades.
