Thirteen Dogecoin (DOGE) addresses held 46.18% of the supply tallied in a rich-list snapshot on Oct. 19, a concentration that does not show how many people own the coins. At 6:22:40 p.m. ET (22:22:40 UTC), the top 13 addresses held 72,240,146,709 DOGE. The rich list’s displayed distribution rows totaled 156,432,381,030 DOGE, making the 13 addresses’ share 46.18% of that listed total. The largest address held 27,164,003,624 DOGE. The second held 11,678,079,132 DOGE, and the third held 10,934,742,143 DOGE. These figures describe balances recorded at addresses at one point in time; they do not establish the number of beneficial owners behind them. A custodian’s address can hold assets for many customers. Robinhood, for example, holds customer cryptocurrency in pooled wallets and tracks ownership in an internal ledger.
