Solana’s completed non-vote transactions rose 23.3% to 8.78 billion in the third quarter of 2026 from 7.13 billion in the second, providing a direct comparison with the preceding quarter. A completed transaction executes and keeps its result; when an instruction fails on Solana, the transaction’s state changes are reversed. The measure excludes validator votes but can include activity from apps and bots. The increase therefore does not establish how many people used the network. The Solana Foundation used the 8.78 billion figure in an Oct. 6 ecosystem roundup. A later Solana post used 8.92 billion for the quarter and put that figure 104% above the fourth quarter of 2025.
