Polkadot (DOT) declined about 5.7% in two daily price observations near $1.11. Both showed similar losses, but the readings covered different dates and measurement windows. At 8 p.m. ET Saturday, Oct. 17 (00:00 UTC Sunday, Oct. 18), DOT stood at $1.115, down 5.70% from the previous daily reading. A separate daily observation for Oct. 17 put DOT at $1.116, down 5.75%, with a low of $1.094. Because the observations cover different intervals, they are not identical snapshots, even though the reported declines are close. An earlier Oct. 17 DOT price update put the token near $1.16 at 4:12 a.m. ET (08:12 UTC). DOT is Polkadot’s native token, used for staking, governance and coretime purchases on the network.
