Jito Upgrades Solana BAM With 25-Millisecond Batch Auctions

Image: TokenPost

Jito has upgraded its Block Assembly Marketplace (BAM) for Solana with bundle-ingestion changes and 25-millisecond batch auctions, while preparing a temporary maintenance period ahead of Alpenglow’s mainnet activation. The upgrade improved BAM’s rewards performance primarily through higher tips. Its Market Tick program runs at the start of each 25-millisecond batch auction. FireBAM averaged a 0.05% skip rate across Epochs 1032–1039, compared with 0.13% for AgaveBAM. BAM validators receive 35% of preconfirmation revenue through priority fees. Initial distributions are expected in October 2026.
