Sky Prime Agent’s Basin Targets Settlement Timing Gap for Tokenized Treasury Bills

Image: TokenPost

Sky Prime Agent has launched Basin, a service intended to give eligible holders of tokenized Treasury bills stablecoin access across Treasury settlement timelines. Stable pricing alone does not resolve liquidity challenges when tokenized bills are used as onchain collateral. Basin is intended to address constraints associated with the bills, including in liquidation processes. Prime Agents accounted for about 65% of Sky’s combined assets as of September 2026. Spark represented 36%, Grove 24%, Obex 4% and Osero 1%, within Sky Protocol’s broader asset mix . The agents use protocol assets for specialized investments under risk limits set by Sky governance. Uptake, user engagement and liquidity levels will help indicate the product’s impact. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost. Send corrections or tips to info@tokenpost.com.
