OCC Opens Revised Stablecoin Issuer Reporting Forms for Comment

Image: TokenPost

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has opened revised reporting forms for comment, detailing weekly confidential activity filings and quarterly financial reports for issuers under its stablecoin oversight. The forms cover permitted payment stablecoin issuers supervised by the OCC and foreign payment stablecoin issuers registered with the agency. They do not establish a reporting requirement for every stablecoin issuer. The reporting cadence is part of the OCC’s final rule implementing the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins Act, or GENIUS Act, which takes effect Jan. 18, 2027. The information collection still needs Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval, and comments are due Nov. 23. Under PS-01, issuers would submit a daily set of operating data for each payment stablecoin once every week.
