Ducat Plans Treasury Protocol Shutdown With DUCAT-to-USDG Redemptions

Image: TokenPost

Ducat plans to wind down its treasury protocol and let eligible wallets exchange Ducat (DUCAT) for USDG, with redemption allocations determined by a snapshot the team has taken. Eligible wallets can hand in DUCAT for USDG up to their snapshot allocation, at a fixed amount per token. Ducat says no cooldown period applies, and DUCAT bought from liquidity pools after the snapshot will not qualify. Ducat plans to close the protocol in stages. The team says it will demonstrate during the shutdown that the treasury fully backs DUCAT. The protocol’s design includes a price-floor mechanism, Ducat said.
