Cody Carbone Says Stablecoin Rules Matter for U.S. Crypto Builders

Image: TokenPost

Digital Chamber CEO Cody Carbone said clear, durable rules for stablecoins matter to U.S. crypto developers, linking regulatory certainty with builders’ confidence. Carbone discussed stablecoin regulation with Luke Mulks on The Brave Technologist Podcast following the GENIUS Act. The Digital Chamber is also advocating for the CLARITY Act, which would set digital-commodity rules and allocate oversight between the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Senate rejected cloture on a motion to proceed 49-50 on Sept. 15, with one senator not voting. The procedural vote was not on final passage, and the bill remains stalled. The GENIUS Act’s separate payment-stablecoin issuer regime is scheduled to take effect Jan. 18, 2027. Riza Dagoc reports on regulation, investing and the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
