Bybit KZ and Alatau City Authority sign MoC on tokenization, digital asset payments, cross-border remittances

The memorandum, signed at the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum held in Astana on 1–3 October, sets out the parties' intention to cooperate on digital asset solutions for the city. Alatau City is being developed as an emerging smart city with its own legal framework, including dedicated rules for digital asset activities. The memorandum creates a framework for dialogue between Bybit Kazakhstan and the City Authority as this environment takes shape, outlining the shared vision for Alatau’s next phase of growth as financial hub and innovation centre.
