Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., has made President Donald Trump’s crypto earnings a subject of his reelection campaign, using a new ad to accuse Trump of turning public office into personal gain. The spot, titled “Grifting,” was released Oct. 13. A voice in the ad claims Trump made more than $600 million from a memecoin. Warner says, “That’s not governing. It’s grifting. The corruption needs to stop.” Trump’s annual financial disclosure covering 2025 records $635,068,835 in Celebration Coins licensing royalties under CIC Digital LLC. The filing describes CIC Digital as handling NFT and meme coin licensing and lists the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust as its sole owner. It does not calculate Trump’s net personal profit from any one token.
