Up to 1.3 billion shares become eligible for trading on October 22, 2026, in the largest SpaceX share unlock since its June Nasdaq listing. The release expands the stock available for holders to sell, but trading eligibility does not mean all those shares will immediately reach the market. The batch accounts for 28% of shares subject to a 180-day lock-up . It exceeds the previous largest release, when up to 911.5 million shares became eligible for trading on August 6. SpaceX trades on Nasdaq under the symbol SPCX . The unlock changes which shares holders are permitted to trade; it is not a tally of completed sales.
