Sony has launched a new Soneium incubation program targeting blockchain-powered entertainment, including PlayStation games, anime, and digital collectibles. The initiative could open new doors for onchain gaming and fan experiences, although Sony has not announced any specific PlayStation crypto integration. It invites startups and creators to develop entertainment products using Soneium, the Sony blockchain network. Sony said the program aims to move projects beyond technical experiments toward entertainment products that deliver tangible value to users.
