North America Received $3.02 Trillion in On-Chain Crypto Value

North America received an estimated $3.02 trillion in on-chain crypto value over the 12 months ended July 1, 2026, while U.S.-linked wallets accounted for 88.1% of geolocated x402 model-inference transactions. The regional total was 1.9% below the $3.08 trillion recorded in the preceding 12-month period. The United States received $2.78 trillion, down 2.2%, while Canada received $247.7 billion, up 2.3%. The figures measure on-chain value received during the period, not residents’ crypto holdings or the region’s market capitalization. More than 138 million x402 transactions were counted on Base. Coinbase introduced x402 on May 6, 2025, as a way for APIs, apps and AI agents to request stablecoin payments over HTTP.
