Multiliquid raises $8 million to expand liquidity in $40 billion tokenized asset market

Image: Crypto Briefing

The institutional liquidity platform aims to enable instant conversions between tokenized funds and stablecoins as demand for onchain financial assets grows. Uniform Labs, the developer of institutional tokenized asset liquidity protocol Multiliquid, announced Thursday that it has secured a seed funding round led by Polychain, bringing its total funding to $8 million. The round included participation from Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures. The funding will support Multiliquid’s development of infrastructure that allows institutions to exchange tokenized assets for stablecoins around the clock, reducing reliance on traditional subscription and redemption processes that can take days to complete. Multiliquid provides an institutional liquidity layer that enables holders to convert tokenized real world assets into stablecoins through a single blockchain transaction.
