Hut 8 Values Louisiana AI Data Center Lease at $7 Billion

Image: TokenPost

A planned Louisiana data center could support about $1.3 billion in monthly Anthropic revenue under a full-use inference scenario, a figure separate from Hut 8’s lease revenue. Hut 8 is developing River Bend in West Feliciana Parish with 245 megawatts (MW) of initial IT capacity. Entergy Louisiana is to provide 330 MW of utility capacity. Fluidstack is the tenant under a 15-year lease, and Google backs lease payments and pass-through obligations. Anthropic is listed among the project’s partners, but is not identified as the lease counterparty. The $1.3 billion scenario assumes all initial capacity is devoted to inference, meaning computing power is used to generate AI responses rather than train models. It describes potential revenue associated with Anthropic, not a company forecast or confirmed result.
