The three founders of the former Ethereum miner turned AI cloud provider have cashed out heavily, with $2.4 billion of sales coming in 2026 alone CoreWeave’s three co-founders have sold $3.3 billion worth of company shares since the AI cloud provider went public last year, according to Bloomberg. The pace has picked up recently. Approximately $2.4 billion of that total changed hands in 2026 alone, which suggests the founders are selling faster, not slower. CoreWeave’s stock has fallen more than 60% from its peak, amid growing investor unease about AI infrastructure spending and credit risk. CoreWeave listed on March 28, 2025, pricing its shares at $40 under the ticker CRWV. It was one of the biggest IPOs of 2025. CoreWeave’s lockup ended in August 2025.
