Chainalysis confirmed a security breach on October 30, 2026 , exposing some customers’ names, email addresses and job titles. The company said its investigation had found no evidence that attackers accessed passwords or investigation records, but warned users to watch for phishing attempts. Also exposed were user IDs and organizational role labels belonging to individuals set up on the platform. Law enforcement, government agencies, cryptocurrency exchanges and financial institutions rely on Chainalysis’s blockchain analytics tools to track transactions and probe criminal activity. Chainalysis said an external actor gained unauthorized access to its systems and internal tools earlier in October using what it described as “offensive agentic techniques.” Its findings to date showed no evidence of unauthorized access to authentication credentials, session tokens or investigation content.
